One Little Monkey Jumping On The Bed...

Yes, the day has come. We moved Addie to a "big girl" bed this past weekend. Ahhh, I can cry just talking about it. She's been sleeping in a bed at Mimi's house for awhile now. And since baby Hallie is on her way, we decided the transition would be better before she arrived. As you can tell she LOVES the bed. We didn't have any trouble getting her to sleep in it. She's actually been sleeping better now that she's in the bed. Should have done this months ago. Thank you Lord for such an easy transition.

Grandma is making Addie a super cute quilt for the bed and pillows to match. It's not done yet, but when it is I will have to post a pic because it is going to be gorgeous. Very blessed to have such a talented mother-in-law.

Addie and Grandma loving the new bed. So cute :)

The Ultimate Big Wheel

Isaac was out of town the other weekend so Addie and I headed to Mimi's and Papa's house. Papa has been dying to take Addie for a ride in his new dune buggy. Why does he have this crazy car you ask? Well, one day it's going down to the beach to their beach condo. But for now, my Dad gets to play like a kid again in his fancy adult "Big Wheel".

Addie finally got her ride. Never really smiled, but Refused to get out of the big car. Did I mention that this car has no seat belts. Yeah, Mom was a little panicked. Addie did good though. That girl never moved a muscle.

This is Addie begging Papa to not make her get out. Loves her Papa :)

The other love in her life is Muffins. Yes, hard to imagine that this girl has a love for food :) Mimi got her hooked on muffins. So we made her favorite, Blueberry. Of course Addie calls them "Mushishs". And we of course had to pull out her cute apron that Daddy got her. Not sure why she seems to think the spoon goes up her nose. Guess we are still learning :)

Christmas Pics

So I realize this is way late, and I'm not the best blogger these days. I'm going to play the pregnancy card on that one :) Wanted to share some of our Christmas pics. Somehow again, we didn't get a family picture on Christmas. How does that happen? So these are just of Addie...no surprise there. This first one is Addie last year at Christmas. I put her in the same tutu this year. Becoming such a big girl. Oh how I miss all the chunk and rolls. Hopefully baby Hallie will have them like here sister.

This is officially one of Addie's new favorite things...Coloring at her table. We are Obsessed! I should have attached a picture of me sitting at the table with her (which is quite humorous with the pregnant belly) because that is what she wants to do every day with Mommy. Give the girl some colors or stickers and she is good for an hour.

Addie got a super adorable retro pink kitchen for Christmas. She LOVES it! It's been fun to see her start to pretend play.

And we actually had a white Christmas this year! Crazy all the snow we got. So as a good Dad, Isaac took Addie outside to build a snowman. Unforntunately Addie wanted nothing to do with the snow. Totally freaked her out. Such a girl. And Isaac was the classic Texas man that thought he could build a snowman without gloves on. That didn't go over too well.

Such a sad little snowman.
